Sleepy Nicks is a project started by Ethan Nickles and Tracy Smart both members of the now defunct band The Last Slice. This is a project started purely for the love of Punk, Ska and Reggae music. This music was written and recorded by Ethan Nickles and Tracy Smart, all drums, guitars and vocals recorded by Ethan AKA Sleepy Nicks and all bass tracks by Tracy Smart. Wanting to make a record that sounds true to our sound and leaving the age of over produced perfect flawless recordings in the past, the Sleepy Nicks project does just that. Recorded in one week through multiple studios we captured the raw and real sound for this record using only our true guitar tones straight from the amplifiers, drums all tracked live and vocals kept raw, giving our first record an honest and timeless sound that is true.
